He Can Fly, He Can Fly, He Can Fly

We had a full day today!  This morning we jumped in the car and headed to my grandparent's house for a day of baking Christmas cookies and candy.  The kids loved hanging out with Great Nana and Papa and even got to play with their cousin.  We thought three preschoolers and a baby was crazy until our evening plans :)

This evening we took a break from Christmas crafts and fun to tune into Peter Pan Live!  Some of our great friends joined us a Peter Pan themed dinner and the show.
Who doesn't love pizza!  We actually had to skip out on the special sauce due to time but we ate our weight in fruit and pizza.  The 4 year olds had fun dressing up and the 2 year olds had fun clobbering each other with swords.
We love when our children get to "be in community" with their buddies.  Their little friendships are cute now but we hope more than that they are spreading seeds of something more.  Something that they will long for and understand the importance of as they grow.  God puts people in our path to help spur us in this life, to make us laugh and to be a shoulder to cry on when we are in need.  Friendships are worth making time for :)   They are even worth letting 6 children 4 and under stay up past 10pm.
The babies even had fun...and this picture is definitely posted just for the cute factor.  Good Night!
